Does that imply that the cave mushrooms give them a 'mushroom' style of intelligence? (Which, in humanoids, looks like communism. Or at least I think I remember the Gobbos being communists?) It's already been established that the mushroom works as a hallucinogenic, but could there be a different cordyceps-like mushroom that also work on them? (And would it be mushroom-based undeads, just a different faction of (awakened or feral) gobbos or maybe capitalists?) Or would that line of thinking just open the door to too many Gobbo subraces and should just be avoided?
