Merry Christmas (and Happy New Year)

Just a quick post to reiterate best holiday wishes and stuff. I know this year was (maybe) a little bit sad in terms of the channel stopping (and my eviction obviously) but onwards and upwards as they say.
I'm in the process of editing another T&E video but it's probably going to be the subtlest edit ever. And by that, I mean - it's a much more conventional T&E video so my entire aim is to make it feel like it's no different than any other video essay they've put out. So no silly animations unfortunately. There's a time and a place for those. It's about finding the right balance because the last thing I want to do is make them feel like I'm just inserting myself into their business and creative outlet.
Hope you guys have a lovely xmas and New Year though. Hope you get all the things you want to get / see all the people you want to see / eat all the food you want to eat, etc. Safe travels if that's a thing you're doing. I'm not gonna say the cliché thing about how next year will be 'a better year'. It's not that I'm superstitious - I just feel like the last several years have ended with people saying those words and then being incredibly wrong (sometimes as quickly as January 1st in fact).

Unfortunately it's not very straightforward to put those early chronicle vids into a supercut because I don't have the project files or assets from those videos anymore so I'd have to download them all and cut all the intros and outros out one by one. Back when I made those I didn't know about supercuts or what I was doing or that my audience would like long form or anything really!
