Update: Test build incoming!
🕑 Added 2023-08-25 07:31:27 +0000 UTCSo I went super hard yesterday - thanks so much for the votes on the poll btw! - and I've decided to push ahead and get 0.5.2 out with as much of the stuff as I can done, yet still hitting the end-of-month deadline.
Here's where I'm at right now:
- Heather 2nd quest (done, apart from polishing and tweaking)
- Jennifer 2nd quest (done, apart from polishing and tweaking)
- Amy 1st hookup scene and sex game (done, apart from polishing and tweaking)
- Random nightclub hookup with older woman (done, apart from polishing and tweaking)
- Core items in stores (almost done, see below!)
There's still a lot more to do. Sorry if this is kind of a 'spoiler' but depending on whether you've chosen Heather or Jennifer, that's gonna add in either a tucking or chastity mechanic, which means not only some more code to handle the player image in certain situations, but also some added text in certain places too. Take the art modelling job for instance. People are gonna react if you strip down to reveal a chastity device, right?! Same with the Amy hookup!
I've also gotta add in some tailored daydreams in the classes, now that you've (hopefully) decided to take part in the Girl Games!
Speaking of the stuff from yesterday though, one thought did occur to me - and I swear this isn't me finding an excuse not to do any more work! - but ... with the new model of how I'm working, which is a going-forward-from-the-start type deal, it actually doesn't quite make sense to add in the Johns in the shady alley or the cocks in the Adult Bookstore Gloryhole just yet. After all, your character isn't quite ready to do anything with them, right?! It'd be crazy to think that simply trying on a pair of panties would be enough to turn you into a total slut. (Don't worry, that will happen, mwhahaha, and I do still intend to build in the functionality as soon as I can, but ... yeah. That thought's calmed me down a little).
So here's what's gonna happen - I'm away for a weekend break and leaving at 6pm UK time today, and I have all of today to work on Girl Games (it's 8:30am now). I'll make sure that, no matter what stage I'm at, I'll export it, and drop links to a private test build before I leave, which will hopefully be at a somewhat playable stage. it's up to you if you wanna try it out or just wait until the finished and totally polished version drops, which will be right at the end of this month.
