What's also on again is making this damn game. I've actually been working on it in the evenings and weekends for about a month, trying to tidy/organise/scale back a lot of things from the last version, in order to carve out a clear path toward releasing Version 0.5.0. And while I'm still maybe a month (or two?) away - meaning there's not a guarantee I'll have a full new playable build to share with you in a fortnight - I'm also changing the way I think about this Patreon and game-making going forward ...
I figure as long as I'm transparent about where I'm at, that I keep you all in the loop with lots of updates, and that I'm clear about whether billing is/isn't on, then it's up to you to make call to stick around or jump ship for a little while until there's something tangible to show for your $.
That said, I promise there will be a LOT of updates and transparency from hereon in. I've realized that if I am gonna get the next version of this game ready and out, then one thing I desperately need is a crystal clear roadmap and to make sure I don't deviate from it (something I've been guilty of too many times in the past, lol). But this time around it honestly feels like things are finally coming together - as in, my coding/game-making skills are starting to match up to the vision I have for this game - and if you stick around for the ride, I promise you it'll be worth it!
