0.5.1 - Test Build #2 (accountability post!)
🕑 Added 2023-06-30 10:22:24 +0000 UTCIt's that time again and I've got something to share with you - although it's not quite the finished polished build I was hoping for. Still, I'm pretty pleased with the progress I've made this month - as detailed in my last post, I've done a ton of work on the character and background images as you'll hopefully see, and I'm excited to hear what you think of the 'new' characters ...
As this is just a test build to show you where I'm up to, like last time it's HTML/browser only - as it's such a lot of hassle and headhaches to run off each of the different versions - but I've tested it out in Chrome and Firefox and it seems to be running pretty smoothly!

There's still some polishing and finessing before I consider 0.5.1 finished - more dialogue options, more work on the first 'Art Class' and Gloryhole cut scenes, some polish to the sound effects (there's currently a bug where the ambient location sound cuts out sometimes), etc, etc. But I've been getting up super early in the mornings - honestly, I have an alarm set for 5am - and I'm putting in work on the game every day. Evenings too. I'd dearly love for this to be what I spent ALL my time working on, but I can dream, right?!
Anyway, this is where I'm up to. Thank you all so so much for your continued support. Things are still moving forward, as you can hopefully see!
