I realize that her eye color is meant to be kind of like the hazy color that some blind people have, but I do think it is a pretty color and the dark pupil is meant to keep that color and visually show that her eyesight is coming back. What do you think?

I think the transition is pretty clear

You could do a light green color if you decide that would be a nice reference to being blind but still show her eye sight coming back
