I think HOTD is fantastic! It reminded me back when I first watched GOT and how great that was. For me HOTD is washing away the stains of the crap ending we got from GOT. Plus I thought Milly Alcock as the younger Rhaenerya was excellent! You should check out the book the show is based on called Fire and Blood it's an awesome read! On a side note holy shit that model looks incredible! Amazing artwork!

I get it, I just didn't like that it looked like they changed her personality as well. I don't like older one because of that.

I thought it was great. Other than some of the time jumps/pacing, the writing reminded me of the earlier seasons of thrones. Didn't dumb things down for the lowest common denominator audience. And episode 8 was 🤌

To me it is like big prologue to the main story, Dance of Dragon. So many time jumps and many characters show up and die in season, but it was necessery for viewers to understand what plot it is. I love Viserys, he wasn't the best king, but he rule many years and managed to keep peace in the realm. Yes, he made many mistakes, but he always do his best and as long as he lived, no one dares to oppose his desitions.
