As much as I love the whole series, I really love seasons 3 and 4 the most. Things get crazier and crazier in season 3. The algae planet, the legal drama, even MORE Starbuck craziness and the music... THE MUSIC. Buckle up for the rest of the season, Normies, some of the best TV ever made is in store.

Shame Suraj! Shame!!! Shame!!! Navi said to say that. Well now they get to eat that awful, awful Algae!!! But hey it's food! And yeah Mickey was right at the end that those ships had "skeleton crews" so they didn't lose that many people, but still not great to lose those ships and small crews. They actually do have a ship that grows food which they call the Botanical Cruiser. This is why they didn't run out of food in earlier seasons. I think that's the ship they were talking about where all food got tainted for some reason at the beginning of the episode.

Think the word Rana was looking for was "sacrifice" Also "skeleton crew" typically means the minimal number of people required to carry out all primary ship functions, but can also be very situation dependant. In a case like this they really might only have been pilots, navigators, and probably some people to do immediate damage control on the other end.
