It’s season 3 already and you should realise that every single moment they show in this anime is not for nothing, like how you missed marco heard something and turned his head in season 1 early episode( it’s just a 1 second shot) , and it turns out to be Reiner killing him :) We’re not comparing here but it’s not one piece, you CANNOT miss anything in AOT

Let's keep some things clear, the Ymir that they refered to in the history of the AOT world has no connection to our Ymir except from the fact that they're both Eldians because if you remember from Yimir's flashback she was taken off the streets so she can be a fake royal heir so the people can stay loyal to the royal family so our Ymir is just some random homeless girl that they took off the streets and doesn't have anything to do with the royal Family and the Reiss family didn't know about Ymir's existence so they could not have altered her memory. Also you were looking at chat when they said it on the episode but"The Owl" is the secret informator from the Marlian government that was secretly giving information to the restorationists (Grishas group) to protect them that's why he pushed the officer who killed Grisha's sister off the ledge and let him die because he is secretly an eldian helping Grisha.
