At the beginning, when conny is laughing hysterically, it's because he made a pun in Japanese. He was joking about erens house (house = ie ga in Japanese) which sounds exactly like "yeager". He said "that could be erens house!" but it sounded like "that could be eren... ie gaaaa!" Pretty impossible to translate the joke into English hahaha

At the beginning of episode 16, the reason Conny got smacked is because he made a pun, but it only works in Japanese so the translation makes the situation weird. (He didn't actually say anything about his house eavesdropping)

Yea reiner got split personality disorder from being a "soldier" too long (being inside the walls and part of the corps) when actually he is a "warrior" ( something you find out about later)

The "information for public disclosure" said that the colossal Titan emits steam by using his tissue essentially the steam of the colossal Titan is his muscles and tissue so it cannot be infinite therefore the best plan is to make him use all his steam because that's the only way they can attack him without getting burned or pushed away. There are a lot of things you are unaware of and believe it or not the show hasn't even started yet this is all just build up for the real show to begin. Also personally for me Erwin's speech didn't make me feel a lot of things in Japanese but you have to hear it in (english) dub,actual chills
