You didn't catch it but when Mahito made a face in episode 18 with his hand and stabbed that face with the other it was actually Yoshino and Mahito was essentially mocking Yuji for not saving him and breaking him mentally even more. Also the scene with Jogo was a flashback, it was right after they sealed Gojo
