Mistakes, Work and The Game’s future

One mistake I made while developing this game was being overly ambitious. I should have started with smaller projects to learn how everything works, especially since I was new to game development at that time. Because of this, adding features like translations or fixing small mistakes in the code became much harder, sometimes causing the entire game to break.
Work
Even during my breaks, I kept learning new things about coding and art. Looking at my game now, I’ve noticed a lot of questionable coloring choices and gameplay implementations. Because of this, there will be changes to both the mechanics and the art.
The Game’s Future
With that said, let’s discuss the game’s future. To summarize, the game will undergo a complete polish and is planned for a paid v1.0.0 release within 2025. There will be significant improvements to both the art and gameplay, but no new stories will be added.
A free update will be released on February 1st, introducing one more gameplay mechanic and addressing some bugs. After this, updates will be exclusive to Patreon until the game is ready for its public paid release.

No. I don’t feel the game is good enough to release on Steam.
