The update I'm currently working on will be 11 pages long but I'm adding a few more which will be exclusive to the Morganite tier. The sketch above is a tiny preview for that! As usual, it won't be 100% explicit but I'm expanding my boundaries a little with it.
I might separate this scene into two updates, otherwise I feel like I'd make everyone wait for too long, but I'm not sure yet. It depends on how far I can get until Monday, when my next update is due.
Also, I haven't really talked to you guys recently about what's been going on with me! Mostly because there was not a lot to talk about. I've recovered from sickness again, hopefully this time I can stay healthy for a little longer :') And I've been trying to take things a little more slowly than I normally would. I've allowed myself more time to just.. do nothing. Or just doodle, sleep, play Gw2, read manga/comics etc.
I'm trying to be a little more mindful of the things I do, which means no panicked rushing through things but actually paying attention to activities, even if it's just mundane things like cleaning the dishes. Usually whenever I'm doing anything, my mind will already be at the next task, stressing over doing the current thing as fast as possible so I don't waste time and can move on soon! Which is not only unhealthy but also not the least bit helpful. Doing everything in a rush with a certain amount of panic at the back of my mind doesn't mean I'm getting things done faster, it's just wearing me out much faster than necessary. That's something I've known for a long time but I always felt unable to do anything against it. However, being sick and physically unable to move faster than in actual slow-motion, helped me realise that the world doesn't end just because I'm taking a little longer.
I'm still tornadoing a lot, because that's who I am, but I'm allowing myself to stop sometimes and work on things more slowly. Just turning on some music while doing chores and stopping mid-task sometimes to focus on a good song has made things much more enjoyable :')))
This should be such an obvious realisation but getting to this point took me really long 😂 Forever anxious of not doing/being enough and falling behind 💫💫💫
In other news, I applied for a German convention a while ago, the Dokomi in Duesseldorf, and I got my confirmation a few days ago!! So I'll actually be tabling at a con again after ?? 4 years?? Idk when the last one was. I already booked my hotel too, so there's no going back now q _q) I have so much to do until then, the first 50+ MUTED pages need to be redrawn until the end of March, so I can print the first volume in full colour like it's supposed to be &I would love to have some additional merch to sell too, so I'll be really really busy for the next few months. Which I'm very much looking forward to, there's nothing else I'd rather be doing 💕
That said, I have to get back to working on the upcoming pages now, so that I can hopefully show them to you very soon 💕💕💕

Taking care of yourself is always super important. And I can so relate about looking at all the things that needs to be done and...sometimes don't get done. XD Because life. Because time. But yes: the world will not end if you take your time. Not all tasks are super important. Do your best! (I had to read a book to help with that XD I was going crazy with cleaning and chores at some point and had no time for hobbies and it affected my mood). And wow! A convention! I wish you all the best sales and popularity (you deserve all that!). And oh! A MUTED book? >3 Very interesting. Speaking of MUTED, that last preview looks niiiiiiiiiiiiiice. As long as you're comfortable with that you're doing, it'll be fine. :3
