You’re correct, those systems have sadly been lost to Imperium expansion.

Fire_Warrior22

I just noticed something while looking at the modern map of the Orian Arm. I might be seeing it wrong but it seems to be that the Breimheinian and Aoe homeworlds are within the Imperium right now. Does this mean that they have been destroyed or am I seeing it wrong?

Fire_Warrior22

Will you also mention the ftl methods used by the other factions? I remember you mentioned you might include it.

Fire_Warrior22

Very interesting. Both certainly make sense. But I am still curious in relation to the government of the Conglomerate. Each colony seems to have a Senate or something but we don't know much beyond that.

Callum Diggle

Thanks man! These are areas where the majority of the population is made up of one species. Nearly all systems are multi-species however, but the Ouneggian province is majority Ouneggian because that is the area that the Ounegg occupied prior to assimilation into the Conglomerate. In the case of the Pekt, their province combines former sovereign territory prior to assimilation and also territory colonised primarily by the Pekt on behalf of the conglomerate. the Breimheinian province is a sort of honorary province because all of it was colonised after assimilation, but it maintains a majority Breimheinian population because of its proximity to Wimrigg (their home-world) and the fact that all of it is “south-east” of Wimrigg, it means that it’s simply easier for Breimheinians to reach this region of Conglomerate space. As for the high gravitational field of Romonia, the robotic arm holding the throne aloft must be made from some combination of advanced composite materials. Im sure that the Emperor, or his ancestors, spared no expense on the construction of the awe-inspiring throne that seemingly levitates on its snake like robotic arm. I can imagine things of this nature that seemingly defy the intense gravity of their home-world would be a symbol of extreme wealth on Romonia because of their costly construction.

Alien Person

Can't wait! It's such a treat to get to learn more about the other aliens besides humans

Callum Diggle

Yes exactly!

Callum Diggle

They are by the events of the comic itself, but this is in the past before they were fully assimilated into the conglomerate

Callum Diggle

Thanks so much! There isn’t much left at all, it is so very nearly complete. There are 3 more sections to do. Those being the piece on the fall of the Yarkeenian Empire, which will be a bit of ancient Humanity Lost lore from way before the events of the story. Then I want to cover something Erika was enquiring about, namely wormholes and how the Imperium uses them, in that section I’ll also be introducing the Imperium Norns, a special type of unit that can tear holes in spacetime. The third and final piece that I want to add to the bonus pages of volume 2 is on the Tandrax, their society and also their self replicating drone workforce, these drones will be appearing in volume 3, so I wanted to set them up a little bit with an explainer. So yeah, we’re very close to release now! 🎉

Alien Person

Yes!! I seriously love the profiles you've made for jsnudua and the wizard, I really hope we get more like this in future volumes. Speaking of which, how much left do you have planned for volume 2? If memory serves correct, most of what you had planned should be finished now?

Burger Messiah

I thought the velousians were completely part of the conglomerate

Omar Molotov

Wow, so the kolaxan dictator is basically what the Taiko or Shogun was in feudal Japan

Fire_Warrior22

Impressive as always lad. I am curious about the Conglomerate's provinces, how does that work when it comes to the government? And how does the Kolaxan throne not break considering Romonia is a high gravity planet and the Kolaxans don't seem to be light in any way?
