🕑 Added 2024-10-18 22:26:41 +0000 UTCSorry that took so long guys, but huge two page spreads like this one do. I’ve still got a bunch of little details to add, but it’s at a stage where it’s finalised enough that I’m happy to show it to you all.
I’ve also been doing a lot of writing when ideas come to me and I’ve been feeling inspired about Humanity Lost lately. I’ve been writing in increasing detail about upcoming events in the near future and I’ve got some really exciting stuff for you all round the corner. I’m talking massive events that are just going to be one thing after another and will radically evolve the story in ways that will keep you on the edge of your seat. For now though, there are big reveals to come in our current scene. The colours for this two page spread are going to take a while, they always do on these big pages, but I’ll show off some Concavia stuff in the meanwhile to keep fresh content coming on the Patreon. Thank you as always for the support, it really does mean the world and you allow me to do what I do here. There may be in some far flung star system hitherto undiscovered. Robots are shunned across G.U. Space, the imperium did a lot to drive paranoia among the many civilian populations, perhaps not wholly unjustified paranoia too. Other species do use cybernetics, it’s just very enculturated into Yarkeenian society, at least the Yarkeen within the conglomerate that is. There are many uncontacted Yarkeenian words out there left in the dark since the fall of their empire. We know that biorobots are a thing from Skivs caravan back in issues 2 and 3, this is no doubt a practice used across the Conglomerate as he Chantauri wouldn’t be able to do that themselves.

I was thinking that the Velousian on the far left got to him, but it’s possible that the Vureii butcher got him with the gun under the desk like you said. Thanks mate, I’ve tried to cram a lot in here without it feeling too cluttered. You could say that!

Are there any sentient machine civilizations other than the Imperium? Do the species have non-sentient robots or have they shunned the use of robots for fear they could be hacked? If they don't use normal robots do they use genetically engineered slav- I mean biorobots? Have any of the species other than the Yarkeen used technology to enhance themselves or is it forbidden? How advanced is their biotechnology?
