Thanks mate! Yeah Simon has something similar in habitat I believe, so does Kim Stanley robbinson in his book 2312, that book has some really creative “terrariums” in it.

These new critters look even cooler with their various colors. Fun to see them feeding in action. Looks like they brought a small bit of home ecosystem not just some ducks in a pond, but top predators too. Reminds me of another story, maybe it was Simon Roy, where there’s a asteroid hollowed out to preserve earths ecosystems.

Oh I didn’t even think of that haha they do! Thanks man 🙌🏻

All the aliens are so incredibly cool, love the fact that the flowers those floating blimps are drinking from look a bit like Pekt lol
Alien Person
Oh wow, quite grim, but a very cool piece of worldbuilding! Suppose the ethnic cleansing thing only makes sense with their ancient roman and ancient greek style architecture (though one small note i will add is that i feel the use of the word "tribalistic" here is a bit misplaced being used as a synonym for aggressive, but im sure there was no ill intention there haha)

It's wonderful, you spare no detail and it really helps to immerse the reader.

Thanks so much man, for sure, I’ll eventually do the same for the other species too, I’ve shown glimpses of the others, but I’d like to do more. Yeah for sure, creating flying creatures for such an environment is difficult, I figured that a living blimp that doggypaddles through the soupy atmosphere would be a good workaround. The Kolaxans are Omnivores like ourselves, they can eat a wide range of foods which allowed them to quickly expand across every continent on Romonia.
Callum Diggle
Thanks as always my man, it’s very much appreciated 🙌🏻

Haha thanks so much Michael! It is perhaps a bit excessive for what it is, but I’ve got to get the characters from location to location somehow, why not make it pretty!

Haha thanks mate, the water was a really tough one for me, but I’m happy with the end result ☺️ There is genetic diversity within other species and I’ll depict different features and skin tones within them (like I have done already with the Chantauri), but not with the Kolaxans. The Kolaxans are a hyper aggressive, tribalistic and territorial species, so much so that in their dark past they eliminated all other Kolaxan races over the course of several world wars, now only one remains. Thank you so much, I’m really glad to hear that you like it!

Cheers mate! 🙏🏻

Thank you Morgan! 🙌🏻

Impressive as always lad. It's nice to see the environment of the homeworlds of other species, and it's cool to see that many species in Romonia share many characteristics, like the trunks. Also, it's nice to see that some creatures are able to fly in their high gravity environment through the use of Romonia's dense atmosphere. Btw, I have got a question, are Kolaxans omnivores or herbivores, because I remember reading in the book that they evolved trunks to reach fruit, which they seem to be eating besides the lake I think, but their "genetic cousins" seem to be catching prey.

Wow very beautyful colours

Incredible, the amount of detail in a simple view outside of what I assume is an embassy is just crazy
Alien Person
Oh god im an absolutely huge fan of how youve rendered the water, both the surface reflecting everything and the murkiness underneath, this honestly looks like a real photo, like you just went straight to janudua and traced over it haha I do have one small question though, particularly regarding kolaxans (but other species too), which is do they have similar or greater diversity in pigments like humans do? Would you find some kolaxans with lighter or darker skin, or skin of different hues or saturations? If so i would love to see this as a background detail, especially for other species, but aside from that this piece came out super well! Gotta be one of my favourite panels yet

Holy shit

Love the colours!
