🕑 Added 2024-06-11 14:48:24 +0000 UTCI’ve just started watching that new show called Scavengers Reign and I’m loving it. It’s a really imaginative series and the animation is just gorgeous. Anyway, that show has gotten me all ginned up to draw some alien creatures, so I’m going to try and squeeze some into the upcoming panels to make them more visually interesting to look at. Little critters lurking in the bushes of the Kolaxan habitat, things like that.

I agree with you mate to be honest, but there are some creatures that are genuinely quite alien which is nice to see. It reminds me a lot of the Brazilian comic called Aldebaran in many ways, have you read that?

Yeah I only just heard of it a couple of weeks ago because someone was talking about it on X. My wife just got Netflix for the month, I saw it on there and I just had to give it a go. Oh definitely, me and whoever the creators are are definitely swimming in the same waters. Oh yeah for sure, people should definitely check it out. I don’t really like any of the characters, but that doesn’t matter because it’s worth it for the designs and the animation alone. Its such a visual treat.

Honestly surprised you hadn't seen Scavengers Reign until now. I thought I saw a lot of inspiration from SR in HL, but it must just be a case of great minds thinking alike! Glad you're enjoying Scavengers Reign, because it really seems like it's exactly the sort of thing fans of Humanity Lost would like.
