Just a little reminder, a few Patreons have requested that I host a competition for a bit of fun on the Discord server. Basically the idea is that I give you a prompt and the best art/design wins. The prize is for your art to be shared on all of my social media pages and also if I really like it, for it to be featured somewhere in Humanity Lost Volume 2.
The prompt is: an imperium unit.
It can be any type of unit that you want, whether that may be a trooper or a vehicle, heck, even an Overfather if you want. Just get creative and have fun with it!

I really enjoy the star engine design, and I wonder if the All Mother has started to engineer weapons against them. I'd be surprised if she hadn't at least made plans, since she doubtless wants to challenge them eventually. Quick question about the competition; I assume it's one entry per person?

They are indeed able to defeat them, if the Galactic union forces are well equipped enough and well organised, it can be as close as 1/1.15 K/D, but the Imperium tend to always come out the other side better off. The example I gave there was for a small skirmish, the dynamics would be different when factoring in an entire battlefield. Generally speaking, the imperium are able to out-gun the G.U. and are better organised, this is exemplified in how they act in unison with one mind. I can’t give you an exact K/D ratio though as there are too many factors to quantify, but it would be leaning in the Imperium’s favour. The Kolaxans and the Gord perform better against the Imperium than the Conglomerate because they have homogeneity and uniformity on their side, with that being said, the Imperium has the advantage of being greater in both aspects and has the additional benefit of the bulk of their forces being made up by what are essentially fearless biological robots.

I see that there's a boarding vessel attached to the Kolaxan ship and another one on the way. Unit per unit, are the Kolaxans, and other races I guess, able to defeat Imperium troops? I guess I'm asking what's the K/D ratio when different forces fight the Imperium?

You’re right, but it will buy them some time. Enough time to breathe and to plan their next move. But yes, definitely temporary. I’d say yes to both. A ship can avoid a strike from a Tandraxian Star-Engine, or if it hits a non critical area, it can survive. More often than not though, a hit is fatal. You certainly can break through if the force/energy is greater than that of the shield.

I bet the destabilizing the wormhole was a temporary solution, the All-Mother is gonna come back somehow, do you think it's possible to survive a strike from a Tandraxian energy shield or even break through it to damage the physical craft within?
