My favourite unit is probably the standard Imperium drone tbh, I know that’s a boring answer, but I enjoy drawing them and they have a very recognisable design. I do indeed plan on introducing many many more imperium unit types 😁

Thanks Gabu! Oh no haha that would make it unbelievably huge! Those orbs are colossal habitation units the size of large cities.

It is extremely risky and the Tandrax still lose ships when doing so, it will be explained later on that when the Tandrax swooped in to save our heroes in the battle of Chiron, only one of three Star-Engines made it. the Tandrax are the most advanced species in the galaxy, they merely stand a higher chance of making it through than the other species, they risked a lot on this trip and it was a total gamble.

Is the Star Engine like a Heighliner? How do they navigate wormhole space? I remember you mentioned that only the Imperium had the computing ability to navigate it.

I see, fascinating one wonders how the all mother could hope to deal with such an advanced foe which doesn’t even need a permanent base of operations to supply its war effort they could build warships in one area and then be in a new system over by the next day

That’s exactly right, it’s only the one Star-Engine mind you, but that’s enough to make a difference in a battle like this.

That’s the idea, this is a moment they couldn’t pass up on, it required action and unity.

Those ships, or at least an earlier model very similar to it, would most certainly have been used in the Human-Conglomerate war. The ships are actually multi-species, not just Soeus. The reason it is shaped the way it is is because it would create higher centrifugal force towards the rear of the ship and lower centrifugal force towards the fore. The idea is that the ship can accommodate for all species in their different gravitational environments. The U.E. Could have definitely taken some out, they’re capable of such things, but they would have been hilariously out gunned.

They’ve moved past things like ship yards, Star-Engines are constructed via swarms of self replicating robots that scour a system for its resources 😁

That’s actually a Soeus piloting one of the smaller ships, we’ll see some actual Tandrax in the flesh soon enough though!

Tandrax star engines are already huge ships themselves but I wonder how big the shipyard that built them must’ve been?, it would have had to be at least double the size

Are each of those ships basically cities strapped to engines? It would make sense for the Seous to want to have tons of open space in their ships. Do you think those are the same ships that attacked the U.E. on Chiron? You think the U.E. could have taken them down with orbital defense railguns or something?
