🕑 Added 2023-06-27 20:35:26 +0000 UTCSorry about the wait on this one, a loooot of planning and draft work went into it. You probably can’t really tell what’s going on here yet, but that’s okay because it’s only a work in progress and it’ll all be cleared up in the colouring & lettering phase.
There’s going to be a lot more aliens in these next few coming pages, I know that’s why a lot of people started following Humanity Lost, so expect a lot more alien goodness!

They do indeed have smaller ships, but none can be seen here, I’ll try and fit some in in the coming space battle sequence though now that you’ve said that!

Lol that’s right, and you’ll be seeing a lot more of them! that’s actually a rebel Tandrax Star-Engine, but that will be explained when I put the lettering on the page in the colouring phase. thanks, yeah that was a fun little detail to add in. They did indeed use the existing wormhole as a shortcut to get there 😁

You’re completely right, the Tandrax empire is absent from the conflict/war at this point, this is merely a rebel Tandrax Star-Engine that broke off from its dyson swarm fleet. That’ll all be explained in the lettering when the page is coloured, but yeah, it’s a small rebel faction within the Tandrax that is working with the fledgling Galactic Union. Ah thank you, Oz! ☺️

Now this isn’t something that I have thought about, there aren’t any equivalent animals on earth that I can look at for comparison. In Wayne Douglas Barlowes book Expedition, he has a species called the skewers that use methane combustion as a method to fly, I don’t know if that would work. Either way, I imagine when moving at low speeds around the ship, they won’t resort to combusted flight but instead merely pushing the air through their body like a squid does with water. Maybe a residual methane smell? Like a trace amount.

It’s Dr. Seuss to the rescue! Jk — great to see more of the ‘friendly’ aliens we’re routing for! excited to see what those orbs is in Seous fleet are that looks like bombs or power source like flux? It’s also cool to see it looks like the cockpit is set up to be functionally transparent so the pilot can see you all around. looks like, maybe they just popped out of a flux gate

So I understand we’ll get more info when you’re done with coloring, but that’s a Tandrax ship right? I thought they weren’t involved in the war until they saved our heroes above Charon. I love the Marker shape of the ship tho 🤌
