Of course, he has the same full range of troops as other Over-Fathers, as do those other Over-Fathers have access to the same Aquatic units that Fliegrigel does. Aquatics is just Fliegrigel’s speciality.
Those ships that you see in the second panel are called Dreadnoughts, I’ve been brainstorming about them with a Patreon called Isaac (I’m sure he’ll perk up in the comments). Dreadnoughts are whale-human hybrid ships designed primarily for the use of descending from orbit, breaking through the shell of an icy moon and continuing on under the ice, but they can be used on a whole range of aquatic environments. Imagine one of these things poking it’s head through the ice and a platoon of scuba-drones streaming out from it’s mouth.
A lot of the work on this page will be done in the colouring phase, but I figured I’d show it off at this stage so you have something to look at. Lettering will also be included along with the colour, as always. That’ll be coming tomorrow!

I completely understand what I was suggesting is a freeze frame with audio over it. You can do close ups of your comic and just add dialogue.

I’m not sure on that, perhaps that would be the duty of the All-Mother, I doubt she would allow such individual self expression.

Oh these aren’t units special to Fliegrigel, Fliegrigel just specialises in their use. Other Over-fathers have access to the same troops. Basically all Over-fathers have a “navy” but Fliegrigel is a naval super-power. She manages to keep them all in order, well… managed. Yes! I love that idea, imperium crabs would really fit in with the aesthetic. Thanks Fruit Hat ☺️

There will be lettering over the top filling you in on this when it’s coloured, but yes, time is travelling quicker now than it usually would because there is a lot to cover. I figured people would like to hear it 😁 Basically their connection to psionics is not granted through the All-Mother but their connection to the All-Mother is linked via psionics. Other species use psionics like the Tandrax and the Gherra, they aren’t connected to the All-Mother. This isn’t an accurate comparison, but think of psionics like radio waves. The All-Mother and a random Over-Father have walkie talkies though which they communicate. If an Over-Father stomps on his walkie talkie and destroys it, that line of communication is cut, but radio waves still remain and that Over-Father can connect to them by another means.

Would the all mother be opposed to her over father's taking liberties and making their own specialized units. I would imagine they would be like kids with all their different toys. Also instead of the Tripods or those super heavy infantry you showed next to decide I could totally see Fliegrigel having underwater units that are an interesting crab human hybrid. Enjoying the art don't work to hard

A whole nother fleet?! Goodness gracious, did he and his troops already defeat the previous wave? Thanks for sharing your development plans with the dreadnoughts breaking thru icy moons shells!! So, I know Deicide severed his psy connection to All-mother with his eye cut/scar. I’m so curious how he grows those abilities back again to communicate with his troops and later to turn the over-father he is flash-backing to currently
