The clashing cold and hot air creates massive storm systems that feeding currents that cover the world. Little is known about this strange, near impenetrable mountain range, and dense humid jungle. Former valleys turn into lakes, lightning fell trees as well as any brave elven warrior who attempts to pick a fight with the gods.
However hidden under dense root systems, are the ruins of ancient civilizations, swallowed up by nature, submerging their secrets under thousands of years of rain, rock, and sediment. That is why the people who call this place home revere 'the Veil', as living being with the power to create as well as destroy in moments.
