I've been saving this for SO long as a reward for an unpleasant task I've been putting off, dreading, and that was giving me tons of anxiety. What a reward, omfg! I saw the original in the theaters when I was in high school 🫣 and it was a formative experience. Needless to say, the rampant TikTok masked men kink made me a very happy girl. All the great callbacks to the movie, so well done. The writing was fabulous! The acting superb! Your tone! My apologies if this ends up being too long but I’ve been waiting to comment since you released this. I grew up watching horror films and love all things Halloween. Slasher films have always been my go-to horror genre and let me just say, this audio is top fucking tier. I’ve listened to a good amount of ghostface audios and Xander, this surpasses them all. I could hear the control you had in your performance the entire time. Playing a character that is meticulous but also a sadistic psychopath AND making it sexy AF is not an easy task and you fucking did that. This audio most definitely fulfilled my ghostface or “masked killer” sexual fantasy and I thank you. (maybe I just need therapy, too 😅) Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich would be proud, my friend. I feel like I shouldn’t admit that I’ve never seen any Scream movie, but too late now. I really enjoyed this despite not being a horror fan. I think the subtleties in tone really made it feel so immersive for me. The mocking laugh vs the truly amused laugh (I thought you wet yourself). The tone of your voice was pretty great throughout, and I really loved how the voice changer kinda jolts the listener back into paying attention. Not to mention all the SFX—all good foley work, nothing sounded cheesy or out of place. On a non-technical note, I should not like being yelled at this much 😬.
