Again apologies for not being able to update much. I'm aware this is the reason my channel isn't growing. Ironically, the idea of my subscribers going up at all fills me with dread. Every time I go to change the visibility on a video to public it affects me considerably.
This is a "quick" video where I'm not being Octavius, I'm me. Which is even more scary. This was streamed mid last year. I have a couple more stream edits to put up and one more game review nearly done.

I wish I could tell you I'm getting better.
Why am I like this? Well, this is just how my sickness - and that of countless other people accross the world - manifests itself. As a disability. Not a physical one obviously, but one which keeps us in a cage that I promise I've been trying to break out of for years. I'm so very tired.
That being said, I owe my living to you. I struggle with that a lot, too. It's got to the point where even when viewers send gifts for my pets I feel like a terrible person. I can't go back to an office job - I spent years trying to and it was a disaster. I am existing off the kindness of strangers and honestly I have no clue how to accept it.
I don't know, guys. I was going to make a video about this but every time I go public with MH struggles cunts come out of the shadows and try to invalidate me. All my life I've been shown that anyone with mental health issues should shut the fuck up about them. Do I actually help anyone by talking about mine, or do I just make mine worse?

Other things:
- I'm aware there's been some Discord issues. I'll put another post about that either today or tommorow once I know what's been going on.
- Unbound did a site migration and it appears to have broken things. My friend who also has a book on there alerted me that his backers have randomly lost their accounts/pledges aren't showing so I went to check today and post an update and even my account isn't accessible. I've emailed them and I'll let you know what's going on.

i have to say this videeo is bloody hilarious. i find that many of thew receipies look like an enemy from a Doom cloe, after it was killed by the player. I think i fun mental exercise is to imagine what they were like when they were alive

I don't really have an advice on talking about MH. The world is unfortunately full of arsehole and "just ignore them" is rather simplistic advice, especially given how downright evil some of them are. You could restrict the viewership to just subscribers or disable comments so people discuss things on the Discord or here (where it's easier to remove arseholes, if they slip through). I suspect that would defeat your goal in talking about MH though. Office jobs suck; I hate working in an office. The COVID pandemic was the best thing that ever happened to me (which sounds like a horrible thing to say). It's resulted in me now being permanently WFH, with my home address as my official regular place of work according to my contract. I only have to venture in to London for very infrequent meetings (I was in yesterday, the last time before that was like 3 months ago and I can't remember the time before that).

I like hearing about your mental health, it's hard for me to be open about those struggles, and the fact you can do that is amazing. I think you are pretty cool fwiw (you have pet rats after all, so jelly🥰). Do what you can, we'll wait for you🤗

I am glad I get to support you on Patreon now - this time last year we had a rough time here and lost four of our ratty boys to various illness within a space of just 10 days. It was around that time I found your channel, and hand on heart, it was one of the few things that emotionally carried us through that horrible time. Your content brought my wife and I some actual smiles when everything else felt so bleak - especially seeing your ratties! What you do, however big or small the scale makes a huge difference to some people. Thank you. We're going to sit down and watch this with our current rat lads right now (well, they will probably have a squeak fight, but we're going to watch).
