I think the advice to the guy about to retire and has a now overly jealous partner after losing weight isn't the best - how about you tell her that you'd like to renew your vows? but say that you want to do this on the condition of you both going to counselling because you are concerned she thinks you'd cheat on her, despite you never imagining this at all.
