Potential plans for longer animation
🕑 Added 2025-12-10 13:53:48 +0000 UTCI have to finish what I have to do right now but I'll be starting to setup and plan for long animation again.
Plans are somewhat of a theme similar to the Nun animation, length wise is as long as I can in reasonable time but I'll definitely would want it to be longer than last one so +6min.
Image is potential main character (as long as cloth sims don't kill me because they are not greatest in Blender) - I've tried some Marvelous Designer but so far it doesn't seem like its any better for cloth that wasn't made inside of it.
Maybe this will turn out to be simply convenient way to make the dress be ripped apart faster amiright. 😉
New PC has been doing great so I've been more motivated to go for it.
MAIN DISCLAIMERS - first I want to finish some of the animations I still have to do (although I might not finish all of the things I wanted to do in favor for the new project) and real work for the long animation will most likely start next month or so. Right now I can have 0 promises about it as anything can change until then.
The main worry is the same that it goes for long animations - it takes long time than usually to make it for all aspects - animating/sound editing/rendering/voice acting and getting it all together. After a while it can be less and less motivating to get it done so its harder too.
I'm sure that you have followed other artists in the past that worked on bigger projects and took a while to finish and possibly delayed it a couple of times - I want to minimize any potential delays and friction and focus on it fully so hopefully it goes well.
