🕑 Added 2021-07-07 17:05:38 +0000 UTCThat pencil image was the first time I ever depicted what would become the Giants, who inhabitat Chriirah alongside the Birrin. The half finished paintings were the first ultimately aborted attempts to put them in a composition.

What are the giants wearing in the bottom images?

The birrin can withdraw their eyestalks but the giants have the big extensions of the covers: they can be nibbled by other giants to determine social status/mating readiness as they grow constantly and contain pheromones.
Do the Giants have sheaths for their eyestalks which the Birrin lack?

Sympathetic giants. The thing that has perplexed me is how their body is so long. Why are their six legs located so far forward?
