Yuuuup.... on it 😅 >> Edwin, in fact, had only 5 hours of sleep remaining and was hardly in a position to claim that he's "on it"

Thanks for the examples Edwin. Hmm, on that note, I should catch up on the novels I follow. Reading other fiction certainly helps ideation and pick up interesting forms of writing. Haha and I hope you catch up on your sleep.

🫡 Now that i re-read my own feedback, maybe Leona isn't the best example. Her speech is distinct and that's always good. Sleepy brain feedback isn't ideal. But one more thing off the top of my head - your use of the sudden sounds, like "boom" for fireworks or "ha" (or similar?) For breathing out tiredly. Those I'd try to use specifically for more impactful spots. They really grab the attention well, but then it's just "oh, a firework... okay i guess". One cool example from latest Delve chapter how the author prevented me from overreacting to a sudden sound was: ''' Amelia suddenly called out from the direction of the ship, though not in alarm. "Heads up!" ''' It's really cool how the "heads up!" could be grabbing a ton of attention, but the "not in alarm" bit right before eases the tension before it even appears. And in Wandering Inn - if I see a "boom", i immediately think walls are falling, something broke through a wall or whatever. Typically the sentence before will be cut in half. And it doesnt have to be a person's sentence. It could be the narrator's sentence. Like: "And the heroes were calming walking down the street, ready to finally finish th.. BOOOOM!!" And you could even use a bigger font on that for example. Actuallly fonts are great to add to sounds. Maybe small italics could indicate less sudden/immediate things, idk. No idea what point i tried to make here, but just some examples on these type of noises/sounds in writing. Maybe it will inspire some cool ideas idk :D I just appreciate the story and hopefully can help it be even better 🫡❤️

These chapters are getting really good. Though meetings with Grandov are still on the somewhat stiff/forced side of things. I'd recommend trying to adjust speech lines a little bit as well perhaps 👀 Things like Leona peeping every time she talks. Maybe something along the lines of: "What a delicious cake!" Peeped Leona. / telepathic chirp / chicken nuggets. Idk. But you get the point 😅 That being said - most conversations are far more fluid now. And that's especially visible couple chapters ago with the re-write of Claude's conversation there with his underlings. Just the environment adds a fair bit of context as opposed to the previous convo being in a tub(?) and all theoretical. Keep up the great work!
