The 'fat and sassy' lady is from my home state North Carolina. And I can confirm, whenever we have a couple of snowdays EVERYONE goes to the grocery store and buys a ton of food to constantly graze on while stuck inside. The infamous milk and bread blizzard combo will still be on the shelves, but the frozen pizza, cookies, cheese, candy, soda, beer, and pastries will be wiped out. We once had a snow-in for 7 days straight and I swear I gained more weight from that time than during all of covid lmao
