SM STAFF SAID BTS IS A “FILLER” GROUP
An interview with a former BTS collaborator, Nate Waka, revealed SM staff discouraged him from working with BTS. There are other instances when people talk about how BTS was treated in their early days and how they are still treated to this day.
However, the focus should be in the lessons we should learn from these.

I'm still listening... At the 47 minute mark when you talk about the media ignoring BTS' achievements made me think of how initially MHJ and Newjeans were always receiving positive articles until recently!! She (being a part of the SM machine) probably knows how to grease palms / play that game.

I'm listening to the live on my way to work 🥰... I think with Mona Lisa, the song is perfect but the MV felt rushed. It's fun but I don't think it will catch the attention of GP like other BTS MVs or even CNS. I still love it a lot though! I'll drop my other thoughts here as I listen.

Yes I watched that chat Nate said about it and I noticed he still didn't quite understand BTS but he took the stand that he wasn't going to be pressured and he recoginsed the talents and work ethic our Bangtan. I believe we only know a tiny speck of what BTS were subject to others would have caved in but not the 7 they fought for everything.
