ADOR Sexual Harassment Case- Former Employee vs. Min Hee-jin, Defamation Lawsuit Mediation Fails
🕑 Added 2025-01-06 06:41:10 +0000 UTCParty A stated that they were willing to agree to mediation if former CEO Min Hee-jin admitted wrongdoing and issued an apology, reiterating the same stance during the session.
They explained that regardless of the monetary amount, they were open to mediation if Min expressed regret for "taking a one-sided position, disclosing private legal matters and conversations without consent, and other such actions."
However, Min Hee-jin's legal representative briefly conveyed her stance that she had no intention of pursuing mediation. It was confirmed that Min's side told the mediator they "do not acknowledge the entirety of the claims made by Party A.
Party A alleged that they were sexually harassed by ADOR's former deputy CEO during their tenure at the company last year and accused Min Hee-jin of attempting to cover it up.
After Min released an official statement denying the allegations and publicly criticizing Party A's work performance, Party A filed complaints against Min Hee-jin in August of the same year with the Mapo Police Station in Seoul, accusing her of defamation and violating the Personal Information Protection Act.

If that's the hill she chose to die on, I say, let her...asshole.

The absurdity of hanni taking the "ignore her" incident to the Assembly whilst their MAMA pulls off stunts like this and they idolise her.

Wow. MHJ doesn't seem to care about her financial ruin and reputation. She should get out from under some of this legal shit and move on in her life.

For the sake of all women who have been subjected to such unscrupulous treatment by a higher authority in the workplace, I hope the plaintiff wins her case. It's so hard for victims of sexual harassment to such trials, because it's usually word against word, and unfortunately, in this world led by money-games and greed, the powerful have leverage (you do that for me, I'll do that for you). And the victims end up being accused of victimizing themselves... The feeling of helplessness and fear is overwhelming. But here... there's written proof. And MHJ has proven time and again that her word is worth nothing in the realm of truth. The court better acknowledge it...

I keep seeing similarities between her and Yoon's plight: make incredulous accusations, overthrow establishment, fight to the end, etc. Did they have the same shaman (serious/not serious) or are those just characteristics of greedy narcissists?

not surprised, once admitting to any wrong, it opens a door to other 'possibilities'

Oof... at first I mis-read the title and only saw "lawsuit fails" and was shocked! But now I see it's the mediation that has failed. Refusing mediation will look bad for MHJ. She should have at least agreed to attempt mediation.

Mama Roach is a stubborn, self-righteous asshole who would rather die than admit she did something wrong, what a surprise.
