Panama Canal transit coming up!
🕑 Added 2026-02-06 21:52:53 +0000 UTCWe are scheduled to transit the Panama Canal on Sunday 8th Feb, in two days. You can watch us go through on the Panama Canal Live Webcams - link below. We will be going through the Miraflores Locks at around 6-7am EST, the Pedro Miguel Locks fairly soon after, and the Gatun Locks much later in the day. You can select the webcam for each of these locks from the page linked below.
Would there be much interest in a livestream from Tally Ho? I'm not sure how well it would work, but I'll look into it.
Also, if anyone reading this is located in Panama and has good video equipment and experience, and wants to help, please get in touch! I can't fly my drone here so it would be great to get some good footage from the shore. Thanks!

I made a screenshot video of the Gatun lock webcam. I'm trying to edit the gaps out where the connection failed and will then attempt to post it on YouTube. Watch this space if you're interested!

Yes. I got a good number, but Miraflores' cameras were not working, the Pedro Miguel cameras were a good distance from the locks, and the Gatun cameras had a lot of clutter around the locks, but, I did get a few of TH in the locks or just out of them. Nothing that was really good however.

A new ocean!

'Tally' rinsed the last dregs of 'Pacific' off her hull as she transited Panama. Having cleansed her palate ... ... a slight taste of 'home' flowing past must have caused an excited 'shiver in 'er timbers' as she entered Atlantic waters. Did ya feel it? ... Congratulations!

Was anyone able to download a photo from the Panama cameras?

Congratulations Leo and crew. Just watched Tallo Ho leave Gatun Locks while I had my breakfast. I missed the entry at Minaflores and had to retire at 11:00pm Brisbane time. PS the camera there wasn’t working at that time. I have screenshots at Gatun.
