Instead, you can watch this pretty casual and low-key video I recorded a couple months ago. I've been sitting on it for a while because I wanted to get the update video out first, but I figured there was no problem with you guys seeing it now!

Yeah, they seem to focus on unix compatibility since their core consumer base is musicians on macOS.

Funnily enough, I actually was having a number of Focusrite driver issues when I still used Windows (particularly BSODs annoyingly), but they seem to have almost entirely cleared up since switching to Linux. I guess because Focusrite doesn't maintain the driver there, as you say they seem to be doing a terrible job with that nowadays

Just a small heads up, if you have any audio issues with popping in/out, weird sample rate clicking, microphone not working... ESPECIALLY in Discord, it's your audio interface. I had the same Scarlett (and several others of that line) and it's clear Focusrite has done an awful job maintaining their drivers. Switching the Discord Audio Subsystem to Legacy can sometimes help.
