I never thought of Audible. It’s a great idea. No one should listen to an audiobook in bed. I have tried, and keep falling asleep while it’s on. I get so mad with myself then for doing that, and I have to start from the beginning again lol 🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣

Hello Cecilia. I agree with the curtains being closed, we treated ourselves to new curtains and thermal liners to replace the ones we put up 14 yrs ago (have been down to clean them) and having thermal curtains as well as linings is lovely. Have had early snow in UK but that went and is due back next week? Was looking at your wood burner- has Christoffer used the top section as an oven? Also I know you have often talked about outdoor clothing and layers but what do you do/chose so you can dress warmly when you are spending the day indoors when it is -15 and more? Book of dust is fab- if you cannot imagine the landscape as described in the book check the latest weather pics from the Oxford/Thames valley area as it feels like we are living the story. The Inn and Nunnery in the book exist too and are lovely to visit in the summer (The Inn does good food too).
