Ayce-o-Spades

Maybe have Jingshu’s physique be more of a speed thing? Like Jian is sorta Superman and Jingshu is sorta the Flash.

Ayce-o-Spades

I understand more now lol. Just the way you’ve always wrote Jian I would expect him to be the physically strongest out of anyone his age or cultivation level. The man has literally been lifting huge boulders since he was like 12 or even before (before Jingshu even began walking the path of a cultivator). If Jingshu’s perfect physique tops all that work it just kinda seems cheap in my opinion.

I plan to do some finnagling to rework this scene and I'll add some context into the next scene so everything makes more sense.

He's not really aware of it himself, but you have brought up a good idea.

Benjamin Collins

I mean the way you wrote that scene after he gets the blood cultivating for a long time leads one to beleive the blood is fully integrated, maybe go back and add a short Convo where they ask if he's ready to go and he mentions the blood isn't fully processed but hes stable enough to continue otherwise there might be more people going...huh?? Unless of course he doesn't know either and in the future there's a scene where it fully integrated and he goes super Saiyan

This is basically it. Hou Jingshu Perfect Physique is actually a very impressive constitution that I've got some surprising reveals for. For now, it basically gives her incredible physical strength. When combined with her cultivation method, she is one of the most capable close-range fighters. Wu Jian's strength is insane, but it's all due to his training. He's still integrating the tiger's blood, so he's unable to really utilize it. His strength will increase once he does. However, his main power is the Dao of Space. This is what allows him to fight people with a higher cultivation than his own. Hou Jingshu can also defeat people at a higher cultivation, but not to the same degree as him.

Ayce-o-Spades

Ok I understand now I’m happy he’s not fully integrated with the blood yet. I still wouldn’t be able to understand how a gift from essentially a god can be equal to something anyone can be born with, but now that I know he can’t access the full power of the blood atm I can’t complain that he’s physically equal with Jingshu.

Ayce-o-Spades

I think I get it now though after seeing Brandon’s comments and yours. As long as it stays consistent I’ll be happy. If Jian loses to anyone in his realm in a real fight though Im going to call cap lol.

Benjamin Collins

I think what ayce of spades is confused about is how powerful a perfect physic is Jian- max body before hitting cultivation + tiger blood (enhancing physical body even further) These two things according to you are equal to jinshus perfect physic. Other then minor differences such as she has more stamina where he has more toughness. But jians dao is what allows him to beat ppl at a higher tier then him not his physical strength

I mean... he wasn't using the Dao of Space? He would win if this was a real fight.

You're welcome.

Kconraw

Thx for the clarification on both parts.

They are not rivals in my story, so I'm not sure why his cultivation would rise. Hou Jingshu's cultivation is rising because of her cultivation method. Wu Jian's cultivation method increases the greater his understanding of the Dao of Space becomes.

You guys are forgetting that Wu Jian's main power is the Dao of Space, not his physical strength. In actual combat, where neither side is holding back, Wu Jian would win. In a spar that relies purely on martial prowess, they are tied. Hou Jingshu has greater stamina purely because of her Perfect Physique. Wu Jian can take more of a beating though.

Wu Jian has not fully integrated with the primordial blood yet. A Perfect Physique gives Hou Jingshu a great physical advantage over opponent's of the same level. Wu Jian's greatest strength is not his physical prowess, which is considerable. It's his powers over the Dao of Space. In a real fight, Wu Jian would win. In a sparring match using only physical prowess, they are tied.

Kconraw

I’m done ranting. Thx for the chapter.

Ayce-o-Spades

Im just going to assume that he was un consciously holding himself back because that is quite literally the only thing that would make logical sense. Regardless thanks for the chapter!

Bart Ursulla Van de Velde aka High Four

"The resulting shock caused him to spin on one foot, but he simply used that momentum to release a kick of her (his?) own." Great chapter again.

Kconraw

The White Tiger is supposed to be the Azure Dragon’s main rival, so shouldn’t his cultivation be rising as well when fighting her?

Ayce-o-Spades

He was keeping up with them which is why I don’t understand why he’s at a higher cultivation now but somehow weaker than he was previously compared to others on his level.

Kconraw

Unless their cultivation really makes that big a difference cuz wasn’t Wu Jian keeping up with them in the caves even though his cultivation was a good deal lower at the time?

Ayce-o-Spades

Yeah if he can’t even beat Jingshu physically who is at the same cultivation level as him doesn’t that make the whole he can defeat people a whole tier above him a moot point?

Ayce-o-Spades

And If that is the case then Wu Jian better hope Jingshu never gets any primordial blood cause she’d be able to smack him around like a red headed stepchild.

Kconraw

I was wondering about that as well. Also, he’s going to have remind her not to call him Wu Jian.

Ayce-o-Spades

Im a little confused about the strength thing. Perfect physique = thirteen drops of primordial blood that directly enhances physical abilities?
