A lot happened to me this year. After Amazon terminated my author account back in 2020, I decided to publish wide instead of remain exclusive. Almost all my books are now available on multiple platforms instead of just one.
I still don't know if this was a good idea, but I'm committed to this since I don't want to be Amazon's bitch.
My new web novel, Severing Time & Space, is being updated. This series has replaced WIEDERGEBURT as my main story. I hope you're all enjoying it. I know we are not very far into the story, but how is it so far? Do you like it? What do you think of the characters?
While I do not have a publishing schedule, I do have several books lined up for publication this year:

For audiobooks, I'll be working on Wiedergeburt 4 with Chris and Jessica, Man Made God 003 with Tess, and I'll hopefully release American Kitsune vol. 1.
I'll give more updates on my books as I get them.
My artist for American Kitsune is continuing to work with me on the American Kitsune manga/comic adaptation. Chapters are currently only available here on Patreon, but I'm thinking of posting censored chapters on Tapas and Webtoon.
Outside of writing and publishing, I've decided to place a heavy emphasis on my mental and physical health. I am exercising six days a week and watching my macros. I also don't stay on social media for long and take breaks from work to make sure I don't burn out.
I'll be honest, the last few years have been rough for me on the writing front. I was pumping out 10k-15k words a day, working 7 days a week, and it really stressed me out. Working without breaks is rough even if you love what you do. I felt stressed to write enough content for my readers, to the point where I neglected my health, my social life, and a lot of other things.
I'm also trying to get out of my house more. It's not good to remain cooped inside all day. I joined an anime meetup group and began doing things with them, which is fun. My friend, May, who was born in Japan, gave me some new years mochi the other day.
I've had a few failed relationships, including one that resulted in some major drama, but that's life. I haven't given up on finding someone special.
Despite having some rough patches like the issue with Amazon, I'm still doing well as an author - and I have my readers to thank for that. My patrons, especially, are helping many of my dreams come true. You are all awesome and I appreciate the support. I think one of the reasons I worked myself into insanity for the last few years to give you content is because I want to live up to your expectations. I am always worried that I'm not good enough, that I am not providing enough content to you. But you've been very supportive of me, and so I'm trying to not kill myself.
Anyway, it's been a wild ride this year, and I'm looking forward to what next year will bring.

I get that feeling. And hospital work is intense right now with COVID. I'm happy my books could give you something to help ease the burden of your job.

Yeah i figured out you had some really rough years, but i would never pry into someones personal life. Something was going on behind the scenes, but at the end it is always great people can manage not to completely burn out in their job or their passion. I am working in a hospital and espcially 2020 i had the feeling sometimes the house would come crashing down on me mentally. Your books were providing me and are still providing me with my healthy dose of escapism, so i can keep going in this trying times.

Work life balance become zen, are you the rock in the stream or the river that flows around the rock? I worked for 30 years like a wage slave tried my best and still got shat on, if only harems and life was like the books which is why i live through good writers like yourself it brightens my mental well being for the day to read a chapter and to know my little contribution has helped another human being, yes we are all looking for the one soul mate but i think its as rare sometimes as atmosphere on the moon. Keep looking keep writing and most of all a 90 year old lady told me who was a millionaire 'health is your first wealth, with out it youve got shit".

Well they're certainly is some awesome goodness to look forward to in the future. Also I wanted to mention that I think you have the right idea it's very very important that you pay attention to your physical and your mental health. It's no fun if you burn out and I agree with what you said before. Anyway keep up the good work stay mellow and have fun most of all and Happy New years.
