0.1.9 release (please read)
🕑 Added 2023-05-05 08:14:26 +0000 UTCHey! I am here to announce that today I'll be dropping 0.1.9. It's basically 0.2 but with a few missing elements. However, there is some caveats.
Caveat 1: New Tiers starting next month
From next month on, the 0.x.x builds will be for $10 patreons only. This is a transition period where I feel guilty for just dropping that on you all, so 0.1.9 will be public for the rest of this month. $5 patrons will still get to play the more complete 0.x builds and 0.2 should release before June, so if you don't want to spend any extra you can just continue playing the $5 build by then and have the same experience. I'm trying to do this transition gracefully.
Caveat 2: It's not finished
This new strategy is to seperate between finished and unfinished builds. 0.2 needs a lot of writing still and I'm just not getting it done in time. I feel you've all waited long enough, but that does mean that this build is slightly unfinished. The unfinished parts are mostly the new company events, like movie castings etc. I advice you to not do these, but you can have a look if you want to see what's there so far. Just expect lots of dead ends so perhaps save your game before you do so.

That's all! I just want you all to play this and see what I've done so far. I've made so many massive changes and it's becoming a little depressing not getting to share it with my community so instead of having to write for a few more weeks without that motivation, I'm hoping to get some positive feedback and get enthused again!

Once again for good measure: The password will be changed on the first of june and the 0.x.x builds will only be available to $10 and up patrons from then on. But I think 0.2 should definitely be done by then so it's not like you'll have to go back to the 0.1.4 build :)
Please do let me know what you think of the new features, story and company mechanics! I'm scared and excited to share this new direction with you all. I'm honestly really proud of it and I hope others like it just as much.

A step in the right direction, great work
im getting a simmilar error, i have noticed if i reload the game it will start working again for maybe one or two days, but then stops again. It doesnt seem to matter if you save before or after the error occurs so for those who are hitting the same thing, save the game and reload for a temporary work around until it can be fixed.

Okay, thanks everyone, that is really useful! Miley Cyrus has a special trait where she's so slutty she always says yes to bootycalls which overrides the success calculation :)

There's not a lot of ways to generate status yet, but there isn't really a use for it yet either. The status mechanics are in place but right now the only way to generate it is through outfits which are a tiny drop in the bucket and it will take many many days to gain a star that way. This will obviously change as I add more ways to generate status through events and social mechanics, but that's all for a later update. I'm trying not to work on too many things at once this time around :)
Also having this same issue. To help your debugging, I've found if you save just before inviting the girl, then load the save, it allows the success rate to be calculated
Yeah I've got this too, makes this update pretty much unplayable as there's no way to actually interact with the girls or get sex scenes. It seems to start on sunday week 1. On saturday I can see % chances for success with dev stats but on sunday it starts saying "Success rate = _success"
For some reason i wasnt able to generate any status on the last update or this one. is it intented? cant even go above one start with using the cheats

Can you turn on dev stats in the options and see what the success chance is? If it's NaN I have something to look for. If it's not it's just because there's still a lack of ways to build relationships. That's on the list for 0.3 :) Glad to hear you're enjoying it regardless!

Can I assume you explored a few options on the first day after meeting the friend and sister in the restaurant? That makes sense that the fatigue system kicks in but sleep is still locked because you're supposed to start the party quest before getting tired. I'll fix it ASAP. For now, after meeting with the friend and sister, just buy an outfit, put it on and go to the party after 20:00 without exploring too much and it should work :) This isn't an issue anymore after the party.

The club and the escort service are definitely coming back eventually and will feature all new stuff! Just takes a lot of time to code and write it all :)

Same. The game just says you are too tired to continue, but the sleep button is not there.
Loved to explore the new content. Are you planning on bringing the escort service back? Potentially with a new roster of women?
