🕑 Added 2023-06-03 16:51:21 +0000 UTCBrett unearths a forgotten B-movie starring Gary Busey as the head of a gang of former Phoenix Program assassins responsible for scores of psychosexual murders blamed on a serial killer. All thirteen members of the gang were confined to a psychiatric facility and subjected to constant drugging and electroshock before being unleashed on the civilian population—an especially relevant detail, given that director Sidney J. Furie also directed one of the earliest MKUltra films, The Ipcress File (1965).

Bob Clark's Deathdream is a good weird one too, far as the Nam to killer motif. His career's fascinating, Black Christmas is a top tier creeper.
