The beauty is that all women who do martial arts or who fight in dragon ball should be like Videl or, more recently, C21 or ChiChi herself for example. Instead, for partly cultural and, above all, partly stylistic reasons, Toriyama's women are depicted as toothpicks and are quite belittled. For comparison see how most of the women in the street fighter series are depicted to understand what I am saying.
