If it makes you feel any better, you're not the first to be driven insane by sciveners (That's what I'm assuming you use, I think you mentioned it before) compile function. I've been tinkering with it for months and still can't get the .epub exports the way I want them. The text messages in the pdf look good here, at least!

The epub indents look good, the only thing I’d so is define an additional paragraph class to use for text message conversations so you can elide the indents there. You ought to be able to do that inside Scrivener and have it carry the formatting across to the export. (Give me a DM if you need advice etc.)

I woke up in the middle of the night, looked at my phone, and saw there was an update on this. Then I went back to sleep and dreamt that I read it, and it was a really short chapter where Vi goes back to the other girls' room, says hi, and falls asleep. Glad it wasn't that. :p

FWIW, I thought the text messaging looked fine in the epub version. And NGL, I swore that when Viola found that hidden spot in the bushes, I half expected Cam to stumble into them at any second! LoL
