Chad Bowers, (who owns/runs the company?) edits the quasi videos, he never really credits himself tho which is kinda sick. Jon Rowe is from Richmond and apart of bustcrew, same as Gilbert so the similarities are real. He rode for politic like ten years ago and they wanted to turn him pro but he refused and dropped all his sponsors. He then went on to put out a ton of insane parts over the years completely for the soul. Now his only sponsor is being pro for quasi lol. I think it’s well deserved. He’s also kind of the antithesis of Beatrice

Thanks. For what it’s worth skateboarding seems to be in desperate need of a bipartisan outsider who’s willing to address uncomfortable issues specifically in relation to toxic positivity. So many people bite their tongue because speaking openly has direct implications for their business interests or social status. I don’t presume to tell you what to say but to me it seems that if your guilty of anything it’s holding back. The allegations of bigotry are pretty obviously false but also disingenuous. I fucking love your shit and I think you’ve helped broaden my horizon’s in relation to what I think about skating, art, fashion, etc. jerry is the goat and I’m psyched your hooked up with sci-fi. I think popular opinion now is that she shouldn’t have turned pro, most comments I’ve seen are critical of the decision. I think I’m just going to use it as a meme from now on like I did in the intro unless anything else changes

Beatrice being pro set the standard for professional female skaters lower, also, typically skaters have to use a combination of talent and hard work to achieve a mature level of skating, for themselves, you can see her skating isn't fully developed to it's potential, turning her pro before that, gives her less of a material incentive to work harder, since she's already reach the "cream of the crop."
