Ima be honest with you the park Alexis sablone designed in New Jersey is ass 6/10 for sure those obstacles are not all that good they went the cheap route everything and it still was a hefty cost for the town of Montclair I do not want a Olympic skatepark I just wish they built everything better skatable art isn’t really all that skatable at times

After watching keepsake the main thing that jumps out as far as girl skaters footage is the lack of speed. The “too basic/not hard enough” tricks would all look way better if done with any kind of speed or perception of velocity, which leads to excitement. They were mostly just going at a snails pace with the exception of a few tricks - which makes the Marisa dal Santos zero part the goat

early on she had WFHL and clips in the Firm Can’t Stop video, then since she’s been back (after going to school) she’s had her WKND part, a welcome to Cons part, the “Storyboard” part, her One Star Pro colorway part, the Seize the Seconds part, clips in the Alltimers “You Deserve It” video, and probably more that I don’t remember. Even if street parts were her only contribution to skateboarding, I’d say that’s more than sufficient but she’s also had a pretty successful contest career, designed skateparks, owns a skateshop, etc.

Only thing I find odd is that as far as I know Alexis Sablone has only one part out (the cons part which was very good) and then a few clips as a kid in the PJ Lad part, and yet she is held up as this hard working street skater. I think she is a very cool person a very good skateboarder and has very good style, but I was a bit suprised to find out she only has one part and then the critique of Breanna Geering for example is not really fair in my opinion. Unless someone could link me to more Alexis parts, which would be awesome.
