My goal is usually one video per week here, one on YouTube. Three videos a week is not feasible for me. I could start doing more audio stuff but if your expectation is 2 a week I’m going to disappoint you

The reason I had multiple Quasis was that I like the company and the first one I had was decent (8.5) and the next two were utter shit. I want to support them but I don't want to wonder if the 60-70 dollar spent will yield a good or bad experience. Thankfully, I see that they do some of their boards through bbs but not all. Hopefully more and more will go through them.

My last two boards have been Quasi and I've not had any issues with them feeling soggy. I actually prefer them after skating only BBS boards previously. The 8.5 shape is real good.

He’s got a spot in this years Solus contest, had a spot in last year’s x-games real street, he even did the video promoting Indy’s inverted kingpin baseplate, not to mention a full video part with warble, with a GH analysis as well. I like Ben D but he's approaching the boards as someone who has millions of back up decks. He also mentioned (not sure in the Joa vid or his own vid) that PS stix decks are very inconsistent. Maybe its just the boards Quasi gets from them or if its every company but in my experience, the boards sog out and become very unresponsive after session 2 or 3. I maybe im just harder on my boards but BBS never gets that way.

I agree about the fact that he probably wasn't underrated back then. However i am not talking about 20+ years ago. I am talking about today. The Epicly Laterd episode was made when he was still on Lakai and was pro for Chocolate if i remember correctly and if you've seen that documentary you would know that there is no mention of him loosing his sponsors in that whatsoever... There is a short Jenkem interview where he talks about i vaguely af. If you want to read about the situation there is a long article/interview where he tells his side of the story. If his story is true Converse basically kicked him off but kept selling his pro shoe for years lmao.

physical activity besides just skateboarding to stay in shape for skating is underrated. i really like bouldering and gym climbing cos it helps my wrist pain/ankles etc and also riding my bike keeps all my joints going. I think there was a greco clip where he says proudly "i dont stretch" and then there's some haggard ass clip of him taking off his thin vulcanized shoes looking all bloody and decrepit and it always bothered me. that mentality at least.

This is due to other sports continuing to be underground and being able to interact with street objects in different ways, and skateboarding being more easily marketable. I think there are other reasons skateboarding is the most popular extreme sport, but I can't name them at the moment. ANTHONY PAPPALARDO. Severely underrated. There is much to be said in terms of his influence on skating. Seems like what he was doing back in like 2006? was underapreciated to the point of him being dropped by his sponsors at the time. Fast forward and his stuff kind of shines through in todays skate-zeitgeist. Im thinking in terms of trick selection, style, clothes etc… There is lots more to it but let me not write a book in these comments rn lol
