i really enjoyed the previous footage and comparison to his former parts because it is very interesting how skaters change and explore new styles and tricks. I think you were spot on with the review and I hope we get more footage like this from Nick throughout the year. I wonder if Element will continue to change and remarket themselves and make a more modern appearance in skateboarding over the next year.

this dude goes full british everytime he says "rather"

Its interesting that Gifted Hater (sorry forgot your name) mentioned the correlation between mental illness and a weird non traditional style of street skating with wallies, slappies, early grabs, sex changes, street grabs etc. The guys who skate like this always seem to look and dress the same, I dunno why...? Anyone know what that's about?

Throw me on a group Zoom with Wesley/ Ted/ Greg Hunt @ Vans / whichever other filmers with Gifted as the moderator for the Great B-Roll Conference of 2022.

liked the review, Joa, good condensation of your takes on stream. the thing Nick does off the table is called an "old-school kickflip" I think it comes from early freestyle days like early 70s era from guys like Ty Page, who also pioneered the "gorilla grip"

Whenever you say the b roll makes no sense cause it’s got nothing to do with skating I wonder what b roll you would think would? Like what b roll do you use to make it match skating without it having a bail or the spots in it

pretty fair review, i really dug this part but the things you zeroed in on all seemed like fair criticism.

What do you think about old Alien Workshop b roll? Or even early Bonze 56k b roll? Genuinely curious

I personally still prefer B roll thats just completely off the wall and random like this video has over the vans style B roll of just the skater like standing on top of something in black and white with color film grain over it
