Q for the next one: Why is it becoming cooler to post your videos on your own youtube channel or on Quartersnacks/Freeskatemag etc rather than putting it on Thrasher? Cooler because the people who watch your video really wanted to? Feel like there are so few thrasher parts coming out right now Or is that just me? Also how does one get his part on Thrasher? Only through sponsors and knowing the right people? Or do skaters/sponsors pay for putting parts on Thrashers youtube?

Not to clutch pearls or tell you what to do with your videos (obviously it's your channel so you can post what you like), but I would maybe stay your hand with posting something a little too positive about dating apps (you mentioned Hinge in particular). I agree that Hinge is probably the best of the bunch in terms of finding people that you get along with the best, but on the whole I feel like dating apps are a particular kind of bad in terms of commodifying what should be a normal human thing and making it a weird algorithm game. Recently a friend of mine was talking about her experience with it and mentioned buying the premium thing (the roses) and how she was sad because she wasn't getting likes back and it seemed like her self esteem had taken a bit of a hit overall. I've never really fucked with any of it myself on a serious level, but of my friends who have really tried to put time and effort into their profiles and whatever (including ones who spent money on them), it's either neutral or seems like it actively hurts their self esteem and sense of self worth. Again, your channel, do what you like, but dating apps in general do more harm than good I feel.
