Hey, gifted hater. I feel like T Funk used to skate really different before Rowan got on Baker. Ever since Rowan came on the scene, I feel like T Funk took on that same grimey look and started skating like Rowan in a way by having that super loose, sketchy surfer type style instead of progressing the clean and solid style I watched him show in Skate Tank part 3 of 3. The skating he did in the Skate Tank 3 video is a style i feel he's abandoned long ago in favor of the rugged, loose surfer boy style that Rowan is so known for. I feel like T Funk was greatly influenced and changed his style according to that influence. I wasn't a fan of that style change, personally. Have you noticed this with T Funk? I suppose this is an extended thought to your already made Elijah Berle video

Is the amount of companies starting up that supply hard goods sustainable? At what point does the game become so over saturated that there ends up being too many options and a bunch of companies shut down because no one can turn a profit? So many new companies have been started within the last two years and a lot of them are actually cool to the point where I no longer consistently support the same brands and I wonder if it’ll reach a point where only the big corporations can survive and we wind up in a similar position where there are only a handful of companies to pick from instead of the vast array we experience today.

Half size down is perfect for me, however I do notice mid tops seem to be a little larger, and low tops feel a little tighter

Have you had issues with Last Resort sizing? I skated 2 pair, and found that a half size down was too big and full size down is too tight. Bummed because the shoes are so sick.

Your take on wheelbases, why do all board companies do the small and super squirly 14” and what wb is on your special real shape? 14” wb sucks for taller skaters since the wb should ve wider the taller you are for obvious reasons, especially if you combine that with a smaller wb truck like indy or ace.

With the (relatively) recent popularity and growth of brands like FA/Hockey and the shift in styles of presentation to more experimental (the recent Aidan Mackey vid being a pretty good example of this, and maybe Bill Strobeck as a whole, if not on a video by video basis, since he is fairly consistent stylistically), do you think it presents an opportunity for less talented skaters to make a name for themselves via an interesting aesthetic or presentation? In wake of skateboardings recent explosion in popularity, it almost seems less cool to make overly serious, self important skate videos. You mentioned once that the “van” culture of skateboarding seems stupid and dated now, which I agree with. Is it cooler now to be less serious, or to not hold onto these “traditions” given that skateboarding is no longer seen as sort of rebellious or underground?
