However, from this month the setup of the tiers will change.
The cost of each tier, long with the introduction of new tiers, will come into effect for NEW supporters, while some tiers will get altered benefits.
The cost of each tier - FOR NEW SUPPORTERS ONLY - will go up slightly. About £1 for each tier. This is simply to help cover living costs that have risen for me since I started my Patreon several years ago.
IMPORTANT
The tier you are currently on, while from today not being listed, will still exist so you can continue to support me at that level until you change tier or leave.
They are now listed as -Old (I.E. Acolyte-Old), and you will remain on their tier until you change your tier.
As for benefits directly offered here, the changes that will kick in are as follows:
Youngling: N/A
Acolyte: Drafts only 1 ahead of public chapters instead of the current 2.
(This will not affect those of you already at the Acolyte-Old tier. You will retain your rights to 2 months of drafts until you change your tier.)
Apprentice: N/A
Warrior-Knight: Access to redrafted chapters 1 month ahead of the public postings (starts from this month - expect a post in a few days).
Lord-Master: N/A
There are also 3 new tiers going active:
Council Member :- This will grant 3 months of advanced, redrafted chapters along with a hidden benefit that only applies if present on Discord. The first round of this tier's chapters will emerge on the 25th-27th of this month.
Grandmaster + Sith'ari:- These have the same benefits as Council Member, but are simply for those who want to support my work at a higher rate with both being limited to a handful of people or a single person for Sith'ari.
I don't expect anyone to sign up for the highest tiers, but it was suggested to me by others that I add such a role on the off-chance someone did wish to support me at such a level.
These changes, beyond being a reflection of the rising costs for me to live and support myself and my family through writing, make the differences between the tiers clearer and more structured than what they have been up to this point.
Regardless of whether these changes cause you to stop supporting me or continue to do so (again, your costs won't go up so long as you remain on your current tier) thank you for helping me make writing a viable career choice. If not for your support, I'd never have been able to keep going with my writing as I have.

Yeah. You get drafts (Mk1s) 2 months ahead of the public. Warriors now get a redraft (Mk2) ahead. Lord's are still 2 months ahead in redrafts. Council and above get 3 months ahead. So, for example: Public this month for ANP is 3.02. You get a draft of 3.04. Warriors get redraft of 3.03 (along with the draft for 3.02). Lords get the redraft of 3.04. Council get the redraft of 3.05.

Also im confused on the wording of council member. It says advanced redrafted chapters, does that essentially mean the completed version of the chapter 3 months before general access gets it?

If you want an idea of the difference, read the General Access posts at the beginning of the month. Those are Mk2 versions of chapters going out to the general public that month.

Wait so the drafts are only about 70% the length of the actual chapter you post? I thought they were just unedited and the full version you post a few weeks later would be largely the same. Have i been missing a ton from a new player by only reading the versions you send out on the 11th?
