Callisto v0.70 - Week 11 Update
🕑 Added 2021-07-02 10:44:31 +0000 UTCThe renders over the past week have had a higher technical challenge due to the scene complexity. Although with this challenge, comes some very nice results. The main story training sequences are now complete and I'll make the switch to the Tanya backstory next week.
The above image is an example of this complexity. It required tweaking the ship textures and adding fire and smoke effects. Additionally this image is then used in another render where it is a display on a monitor in the training room. Whilst all of this takes significant time, I would rather that than a drop of quality to make life easy for myself.
I actually posted the above on Discord earlier this week, however I thought I would post it here for those that didn't catch it.
The beta date is still slipping a little, however the remaining content outside of the main battle sequence is relatively easy to create. As mentioned before, monthly billing will not be resumed until the beta is released. I'll see what I can do to pull the dates above back a little, however I will not cut content in v0.70 for the sake of a date.
Thanks for you support,
Xav
