Callisto v0.70 - Week 9 Update
🕑 Added 2021-06-18 14:41:22 +0000 UTCStill progressing the image renders for the main story content on Dione. I will likely spend all of next week focused on this content as well. The following week I will give myself a change of pace and work on the Tanya backstory. The script / code is largely written for v0.70, hence at this stage it's just a matter of keeping the motivation to crunch through the images required.
The image above is from the training simulators on Dione. Maise as pictured is one of the Heleon recruits you are training for the Krillen conflict. For those with a eye for layout, you will notice that the content of the image is slightly above centre. This is deliberate as when implemented in game, there is the text box at the bottom of the page for the dialogue. When I first started creating the game I would have likely rendered the Kal'trath in the exact centre of the image. As I knew I was going to have Maise on the screen and the dialogue box, it's positioned slightly to the right and above centre. Just one of the little things that you learn through game development.
Starting to make headway, however the quantity of images are a challenge. As I mentioned last week, the Patreon payments are suspended until v0.70 beta is released.
Thanks for your support,
