Callisto v0.60 Update - Week 9
🕑 Added 2021-03-12 07:25:18 +0000 UTCThe current version is in the final stages of development, prior to the release of the beta. Following of the completion of the piracy and salvage coding, a couple of things became apparent. It would require more testing than originally thought, due to the shear number of permutations. Secondly, that the interaction with the 3rd side mission reward is far simpler. As a result, I have elected to defer the completion of the side mission until after the beta release.
There have been a couple of adjustments to the schedule to shift some time from beta to alpha testing (already started) and also to include a backstory for Rachel. This has pushed the full release date back a little, however the beta release date is brought forward. This should see the beta being available at the end of next week.
Have been playing a live version of the game and testing the piracy / salvage mechanic. Seems to work fairly well and adds to the richness of the environment. I have also played through most of the main story and tweaked various items. There will likely be more tweaks following comments from the beta.
As another quick note, the top 4 in each pirate poll have been incorporated into the game. I have posed images of each in Discord, if you are interested.
Thanks for your support,
Xav
